The use of Cannabis for Ecological purposes!

We live in a society where consumerism has grown exponentially, and this factor has caused an increase and deterioration of the environment.

In recent years, the call for recycling and the use of biodegradable raw materials has increased, so that we can preserve our environment.

CBDOIS cares deeply about human well-being and respects our environment, which is why we keep our customers informed about ways and means of protecting it. One of these ways is the manufacture and use of products made from biodegradable raw materials. The cannabis plant has many benefits for human health, but it also offers a healthy and sustainable alternative to plastic and paper packaging. Thus, it has a positive impact on human health and the environment.

Hemp is one of the varieties of the Cannabis ruderalis plant, and is used for various purposes, not only the production of oils for therapeutic purposes, but it also contains a lot of fiber that can be used for industrial purposes.

Hemp fiber is used to produce biofuel, so it is an excellent raw material for the production of paper, plastic, fabric, ropes, among others.

Let's look in detail at the ecological use of cannabis:

  • Hemp Paper: Hemp paper can be recycled up to 7 times, while paper made from wood from trees can only be recycled 3 times. Hemp produces cellulose faster than trees, thus avoiding deforestation. In addition, hemp does not contain acids, so the paper does not turn yellow and brittle.
  • Hemp Plastic: Hemp plastic is a healthier and more environmentally friendly alternative to plastic as we know it. Hemp-based plastic is biodegradable and non-toxic, making it safer for human health and the environment.
  • Clothing and Shoes: Hemp uses half the water that cotton needs to produce twice the fibers. Therefore, it reduces water consumption, an excellent alternative to using cotton.
  • Construction materials: its fibers allow the creation of a type of "concrete", ideal for construction, insulation, practically fireproof and free of toxins, being environmentally friendly.
  • Biofuel: Hemp has even better cloud and cetane points than biofuel produced from soybean or canola oil.
  • Ropes: Hemp ropes are considered the strongest natural ropes in the world due to their great strength and because they are quite strong.
  • Supercapacitors: In 2014, a group of Canadian scientists discovered a way to make nanosheets made from hemp as an alternative to graphene, a very expensive material, in a relatively simple process, which is much cheaper to produce.
  • Soap: Hemp contains high levels of fatty substances, which are necessary to produce high-quality soap. Therefore, it is a natural and ecological product.

Cannabis is an ecological plant, friendly to human health and the environment. We can take advantage of all the benefits that this plant offers us, not only at a therapeutic level, but also at an industrial and ecological level, using its fibers as a biodegradable raw material, as an alternative to known raw materials, such as plastic.

In this way, we will be contributing to a healthier planet, thus causing a positive impact on human health and the environment.

The environment is grateful and so is CBDOIS. Thank you all for your collaboration!
